CANADIAN REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION - HOUSING CRISIS
Canada, like many countries, is in the midst of a housing crisis. Rising interest rates and stagnant wages aren’t helping. And the federal, provincial and municipal governments have done little to untie the red-tape holding up new housing construction. In fact, they’ve done nothing but blame each other for the lack of action. So the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) took to the streets of Ottawa (Canada’s capital) to remind politicians that they are ready and waiting to work with them to find solutions.
